So Smart!

The other morning. I was putting a load of whites in the washer. I was holding Atley and carried her into the boys room to find some more clothes. I said to her, " lets look for some more white clothes to put in the washer." I put her down, and she walked over and grabbed a couple of white shirts on their floor and walked out. I finished getting clothes and walked into the laundry room. And she was headed out of the laundry room to find me. I walked in by the washer and there lies the two white shirts, she was whining for me to pick her up so she could put them in the washer.

So Smart!! Seriously, how in the world does she know what I was even talking about? I swear, she is too smart for her age. She is starting early in her womanly duties, haha.

She makes me hold her when I vacumn, and cook. And she has to help add the ingredients to whatever I am making.
I think this picture is so cute of her. It's her first ponytail! She loved it! She kept looking at herself in the mirror and smiling. (she didn't like posing in the chair for me though) Notice her painted finger nails? She brings me the nailpolish and begs me to paint them, then she goes around showing everyone her fingers. She is definitely a girly girl.

Her new trick is to climb up on Everything! I am constantly saving her from falling. One of her favorite spots is on the chair, next to the lightswitch. So she can turn the light on and off. Lately, she will find herself a snack, and climb up there to eat it. (notice her new silly face she makes)

Her favorite thing.

Foot massages from daddy. Do you think she is spoiled? I know, this explains it all.

We love our little Girl!

Trip #4

Yes, we did! We made trip #4 to the doctors office today. I cannot believe it!
Daxton was up last night, miserable again. I thought he was getting better, but I guess not. His lymph noids(probably spelled wrong) were so swollen. So I thought for sure he had strep. But No, he has an ear infection instead. This is bad to say, but I am just glad they found something wrong with him. After the crazy morning, and sitting in the waiting room with all three kids, for a half an hour. I was pretty grouchy, and thought for sure, our visit would be for nothing. Not to mention the fact that I knew, Jayson would be very unhappy as well. He was not happy that we were making another trip to the doc. What do you do though? How can you ever know what is wrong and what needs meds, ya know? OH, The Fun...

Coughing, Fevers, Crying, Lack of Sleep, Doctors Visits...

This is what our last couple of weeks have consisted of...

It all started two weeks ago, when Atley had been constantly waking up, crying, running a fever. So miserable! Finally, I called the doc. The nurse said she must have an earache. I took her in. Doc said her ears are fine. Maybe she is just teething. "What?" So, the next day, Aty wakes up with really sore, inflammed gums. "Is this from teething?" Throughout the next couple of days, sores start to appear on her lips and tongue. I call the nurse Again. she says,"Bring her in"
Doc says she has Herpetic Stomatitis. "WHAT?" Which is caused by exposure to coldsores. "HMMM" Well thats interesting, since none of us have ever had one. So he gives her some meds, and sends us on our way. She is miserable for days. She is somewhat on the mend, Thankfully...

MONDAY MORNING:
Tregan wakes up complaining of a headache. I still send him to school. Because he is famous for faking sick. 1:00 rolls around, and my cellphone rings. "Mom, I'm sick, can you come and get me?" He lays in bed with a bad headache, and highfevers, for three days. When Tregan lays around, and just wants to sleep, you know he has to be sick. Sweet little daddy, sleeps on the couch with him, so I can get up with Aty.
We get a huge snowstorm, And Tregan can't go out and play, so he makes a little snowman in the house.

DAY THREE: He wakes up, and complains that his chest hurts real bad. I call the nurse. "bring him in" So... They can't figure out whats wrong. No pneumonia or meningitis. The next thing I know, the doc has Tregan laying on the table. He asks me if it is ok to manipulate him. I don't really know what he means, I say ok. So then he lifts and pulls and twists, and I hear popping. Tregan looks like he is about to cry. And so am I. I am a little nervous, thinking maybe I should tell the doc to stop. He has Tregan stand up and asks how his chest feels. "Better!" Wow! Ok, we go home. But why the fever?

THURSDAY:
Daxton wakes up complaining of a sore throat. Goes to school. Comes home, has a melt down. Gets sent to his room. Won't settle down. When I ask what is wrong, he says he has a headache and sore throat. "GREAT!" So next day, he stays home sick. He is in and out with fevers and sore throats. Hopefully we won't have to make trip #4 to the doc!

We might as well just hand over our next paycheck, to them. It really sucks not having insurance!

*Note: this is all for my own journaling purposes. to remember the fun times.(haha)

Aty, after Tregan bundled her up in all of his blankets, and gave her some of his crackers. She thought that was great!

Brotherly LOve!

Tregan was climbing the tree today. And this is what happened!

I was in the house, laughing too hard, to go and find my shoes to rescue him. So cute little Dax, came to the rescue. He tried and tried to get his foot loose. Meanwhile Tregan was screaming and having a panic attack. When I finally stopped taking pictures and decided to help out, Daxton got him free. What a good laugh!! Well, not so much for Tregan

I'm Missing...

Being in WARM Arizona. Swimming and soaking in the sun.

Palm trees, the Desert, and Sun!

When this little monkey was not mobile, and couldn't get into Everything!

And Sun. Or did I already mention that one? I have found out that I am not much of a winter person afterall. Not that I thought I ever was. But being in Az, I missed Utah so much. And now well...
IT'S COLD!!!

Snow Fun!

Since we got a big snowstorm. We decided what a better way to spend our Christmas break, then to play in the snow right? Well, Jayson wasn't near as excited about the idea as the rest of us. But we did get him to sled down the hill a couple of times. And he loved it! (haha)

Atley even liked it.

We even tried out ice skating.

I used to go ice skating all the time, when I was growing up. So I put on my skates to show my stuff. And well, I guess I have lost my skills. I didn't do so hot. So I put my boots back on, and held the boys up. Daxton basically crawled along the ice.

Good times in the snow huh?

Little Stinker

One of Atley's favorite things to do.

Anytime someone opens the fridge, she runs over and climbs in. She will dig for grapes and sit in there and eat them.
