Aty covered in chocolate, trying to get in the tub. Which by the way is her new obsession. She actually figured out how to climb in by herself the other day, and I found her in it, trying to eat a bar of soap.
Whenever I mention taking a bath to her, she immediately runs for the bathroom, and grabs all of her bath toys, throws them in the tub, and starts to try to take her clothes and diaper off.
When I take a shower in the morning, I have to fill her a bowl full of snacks and she sits on the her little stool, and eats. And she likes to throw her rubber ducks in with me as well. Sometimes she even gets in the tub and plays while I shower. She really likes to play in the tub, but when it comes time to wash her, She screams!
*I figured it was time for a new post, but nothing too Exciting has happened lately,
So I guess I will just update on what we have been up to...
Atley learns a new trick everyday. She also learns a new word every day...
She is Still as Mischevious as ever. But she is getting better about listening when we tell her no. Her new thing though is to say, "Uh Uh" in a really loud grouchy tone. When we tell her something. Last week she was running a fever, for about three days. I waited it out, because I So, did not want to take her to the doctor and pay for it again... So by day four, she woke up with a rash. Then I felt like the worst mom ever. So I take her to the doctor and she has Roseola. She was so miserable for over a week. I felt so bad for her. I didn't know how bad that stuff was..
During the time she was sick, she became addicted to a animal movie that she has. All day long, she would cry and whine, and pull on my legs to get me to turn it on for her. But then she would decide that she didn't like certain parts of it, so then she would bring me the remote, and I would have to try and figure out what she wanted me to do. Not fun! It is so hard to figure out what a 1 1/2 year old wants sometimes, and they she gets so frustrated. Now she is feeling better, so she is a little more patient with me. And doesn't want to watch her movie as much. Thank Heavens!!
*We took the boys bowling the other night, and they had a blast. Daxton did awesome. He was winning, until the last few turns, when Jayson beat him.
*The snow is starting to melt. YAY! The boys still go outside and play everyday. They get all bundled up in their snowgear, and walk all around in whats left of the snow.
* Daxton comes home from school everyday and just quietly plays with his batman toys, if you try to bother him, it's trouble!
* Jayson has been keeping really busy with work lately, so he is always up all night typing files. We miss him!
* Tregan got his bobcat merit badge. YAY! ( he earned it a few months ago, but his leaders are a little behind) He also got to go to Sky View and swim in their pool for his swimming thing for scouts. He was super excited to be able to swim again. He has missed that, not being in Az, where they swam almost every day.
* I just keep busy with the kids, chasing Aty, running the kids to and from school. I also started a spinning class this last month. Which I love! It is so nice to be able to just have that hour to do something for myself.
*Atley and I went to work with Jayson on Saturday to get out of the house, we left the boys with my mom. Aty and I got a little bored sitting in the car while daddy appraised houses. But she was good, and we even got to go for a little walk at one of the houses in Salt lake, because it was sunny and somewhat warm. She loved that. She was running up and down the sidewalk. She misses her walks. We miss being warm. We are missing Arizona right now. The boys however, had a splendid day playing their x box the entire day. Since they got so obsessed with it, we finally had to put down some rules. They only play it on Saturdays now, and they have to earn their time. Since we were going to be gone most of the day, Jayson decided that we should give them a little extra playing time, so they wouldn't be bored sitting around all day. so we called and gave them the password to add some extra time, and well... They ended up playing more then a couple of hours. Little Stinkers!!!
* And we are all anxious for school to end, and the warm weather to be back, and for us to be into our own place. YAY!!
Funny Story:
So the other night. I was sitting downstairs hanging out with Jayson while he worked, waiting for Aty to get tired. He had a can of cherry coke sitting on his desk, and Aty kept getting it and bringing it over to him. And saying "uh" He would tell her no and she would walk away. So after a while of doing this. He finally says "do you want a drink?" and she nods her head, so he grabs a water bottle by him and says "of water" and she screams out this little grouchy sound that only she can do, and puts both of her hands on her face, like she is so upset. We laughed so hard. So then he kept torturing her and doing it to her, and she was getting so upset. Finally he let her have a sip, and she was so happy. (by the way, we do not let her have coke normally) Well, Jayson probably slips her some when I am not looking.
Dancing with her uncle Brett. Whom she loves. She knows she can get him to do anything for her. Her favorite thing is to have him give her rides in the laundrybasket. Oh, and help him comb his hair.
( by the way, I know most of my pictures are always of Aty, but she is always getting into mischief, so I have to have my camera ready. Which by the way, my husband always has, because his is broken. So I REally want a new one. (thats my plug for my husband to feel bad and get me one.. Love you Honey!)
This morning, she had her favorite. Strawberries. The boys and I made her bunny cupcakes. She got her very own big, one. She just liked to stick her fingers in all of the frosting and lick it off.
Her newest trick! She is always being silly, and trying to get us to laugh at her.
