The Joys of Toddlerhood

TANTRUMS!

This is a normal occurance at our house. I just have to laugh, otherwise I would go insane!!

My New Model

I asked the boys to jump off the couch the other day, to try out my camera. And apparently, Daxton really enjoyed himself. Because now, he begs me to take his picture. He has turned into a real poser! He especially likes jumping off the couch.

It's a good thing he is so darn cute!

Schools Out!

School is officially out for the Summer. YAY! We are so happy! Daxton had his kindergarten program/graduation. He was SO Excited for us to hear all of his songs, he has been working so hard to learn. He has been talking about it for weeks. He did So GOOD!! He was So much fun to watch. He got really into every song. Doing all the actions, and singing. I got a little teary eyed watching my little Dax. I can't believe he is already finishing kindergarten. He acts so much older then he is. I realized at that moment, while I was watching him sing with all the little kindergartners, that "oh he really is just a little kindergartner." I guess I just treat him older, because he acts so independent. But he really is, only 6! My sweet little Daxy! He is such a ham. I just love my cute, silly little boy!

Tregan finished out his year of Second grade. Much to his Delight! He did not like his teacher much, this year. Unfortunately. But, he made it through. And he is VERY happy to be home with us now! Which I love. there is nothing better, then a happy little Tregy! He is super excited not only for Summer vacation, but also to be turning 9 next week. What? 9 years old? Wow, times flies!

(unfortunately, I didn't get any pics of Tregy on his last day. He didn't get to have a program or anything special. But here he is the night before, having a blast jumping off the couch!)

HE DID IT!

Dax finally learned to ride his bike without training wheels! We have been trying to get him to do it forever. But ever since he was little, he has never been in too big of a hurry to do anything. When we go for long walks, he gets so tired, we laugh at him, because whenever we get to a hill, he has to get off his bike and walk. His little legs just never can seem to keep up with the rest of us. He had been playing at a friends last week, and they wanted to ride bikes, he was sad that he didn't know how to ride yet. So Jayson and I, decided it was time to make him learn. He did it on his first try! I had gone to take Aty on a walk around the block on Sunday night, and when I came around the corner, there was Dax riding his bike. Squealing with delight! YAY for DAX!!
Oh, and he lost another tooth later that night. He even pulled it out by himself. So brave!!

Sunday was a big day for him..

Way to go Buddy, you are getting so big!!

AND...

Tregan earned his Wolf Badge this week. Yay!! He worked fast and furious, to get all of his requirements done in time. He is going to be moving up to the bears in a couple weeks. He was super excited to get his badge. He Loves Scouts!

Good Job Tregy! We are very proud of You!

11 YEARS

11 YEARS!

(My Handsome Husband)

I can't believe it has been 11 years! It seems like just Yesterday, we were sitting in the Bountiful Temple, holding hands, waiting to be married. And now here we are. 11 Years, and three kids later. Living back in Utah. Never knowing what the future holds. I can't imagine my life without my sweet husband. He is The BEST Dad! He takes such good care of us, he works So Hard! Sometimes a little too hard. But, he always makes time for us. I am so grateful to him for all he does for us. Happy Anniversary Honey! I look forward to many,many, more. I LOVE YOU!!

Our Anniversary was on Friday. We started the day with crepes for breakfast. YUM! And then Dax, Aty, and I, planned a surprise picnic for Jayson. I gave him a note that said to meet us at 12:00, but I accidently wrote the address wrong. So we were waiting at the park for him for a while, until I finally called him and found out he was driving all over. OOPS! Anyway, we surprised him with his favorite,KFC. We ate and played and had lots of fun. And, I got to try out my new camera. I am loving it!

That evening, we went out to dinner, and just hung out. It was nice to be together, alone, for a while.

It Finally Happened

Daxy lost his first tooth!!

He has been anxiously awaiting this day, for over a year now. Trying to loosen his teeth, even when they were not loose at all.

One of his bottom permanent teeth showed up a few weeks ago, behind his baby tooth. I can't believe it held on for this long. On Monday, I told Dax that he needed to work really hard to try to wiggle and loosen his baby tooth, so we could let that new tooth have some room. Or else, he would have to go to the dentist and have it pulled. That is all I needed to say! A few hours later, he ran to show me how loose it had gotten.He asked me to help him pull it out. We tugged and tugged.That tooth was hanging on by a string. We finally wrapped some floss around it, and worked it loose. He was Super Brave!!

YAY For DAXY!!

My Favorite Day!

Mother's Day has become my favorite day. Not because I get the day off, (because I don't!)

But because my boys get SO Excited!! It is like Christmas morning, They are SO CUTE! Every year, they get so excited the night before. And they come running into our room in the morning and can't wait to give me their gifts that they have made. One year a couple of years ago, they even put on a concert for me. They played the guitar and keyboard and made up some songs for me. I LOVE how cute they are. I can't believe they get so excited for it. Daxton was crying the night before, because he just wanted to give me the present he had made me on Saturday. He just couldn't wait. And on Sunday morning, they made me breakfast and came in bright and early with my frosted flakes. Jayson had to jump out of bed and stop them, because Aty was in our bed sleeping. I guess Tregan was crying because his feeling were hurt, and he was so excited. Poor buddy! He managed to wait though. Dax made me a little sachet for my drawer and a cute poem. Tregan made me a recipe holder in scouts, and a cute butterfly in school, with the cutest poem. He also gave me a note that he wrote, that had a word for each letter of the word
