Baseball is Over, Summer is Here!

Baseball Season has finally ended!

Tregan before his last game!
He lost his mitt a few weeks ago, and he was kinda feeling tired of baseball. His coach didn't practice much with the team, and they didn't do so good at their games. So he got discouraged. He missed the last few games, but I made him play the last two and finish out the year. And good news, his mitt was found! Thanks to my neighbor who was looking for her son's mitt, and found Tregan's instead.

Warming up before the game
I didn't any pictures of him playing, because it was hard to get out on the field, since they were behind the fences.

Dax getting serious as the pitcher
He played coach pitch, so he just helped catch and pass the balls

This was his famous stance. It makes me smile! Such a funny boy!
Jayson got talked into being his coach, Which made Dax very happy! He had a lot of fun. Because he started a new job in June. He had to have a neighbor help coach a couple of times.  But they had a good little team.

He was a little sad after they played their last game. But he is excited to do wrestling and basketball in the fall.

The sun has finally came, and the rain has stopped. We are finally enjoying the Summer. We got season passes to Seven Peaks Waterpark. So we have been able to go their a couple of times. It has been fun! With Jayson working everyday now, and only having one car. The kids and I have been riding our bikes all over town, trying to stay entertained. We rode to Surf and Swim the other day. And after three hours of swimming and a long hot ride there, we were Not looking forward to the long hot ride, home. Luckily we had a few dollars left, so we headed up the hill to the Snow cone place and cooled off, before we headed home. We were all pretty tired when we got home. So needless to say, the bike thing it getting old, as transportation.  We are missing having our daddy home, but we look forward to the weekends. Aty is having a blast being outside with her brothers and friends, every second.  And jumping on her new trampoline. The second she wakes up in the mornings, she either says "I want to play",  or " I want to jump"

Tregy Turns 10!

My Sweet Little Treg, Turned 10 Years Old this Weekend. I still can't believe he is already 10. It makes me very sad.  When I asked him what he wanted to do for his birthday, he said he wanted to have friends over to play X-Box. I had told him that he was to old for Birthday parties now, but I decided that it would be ok of he just invited a few friends over to play video games. That didn't sound like much work for me. But then he says " and I want a cake that looks like an X-Box" And well, those of you who know me, know that I love a cake challenge. Well, I do until I am in the middle of creating it, and then I wonder why I don't just buy cakes every year for my kids B-days. But it always turns out fine in the end.  Jayson however, does not have the same feelings as I, about the experience. haha! He told me that he is sick of me making cakes and all the stress it causes. Oh well!

Only a couple of the friends Tregan invited were able to make it to the party. But that was OK with him. They had a lot of fun playing video games and eating snacks

Eating the controller, Yummy!

Here is the finished project. It turned out pretty good. The controller was easy to make. It is made out of rice crispies. The cake was a little bit of a pain. I normally would have frozen the cake before hand, then it would have been alot easier to cut and mold, but I had to make a new cake the night before because the first one crumbled. So I was up until 12:30 the night before making cakes and decorating paddles. And then I got up the next morning and finished the cake. Oh and I should mention that Aty was sick both those days with a fever, so I was taking care of a crying, sick baby, as well. Thank Goodness her daddy was here to help out with her!   It is a little thicker then the real X-Box, because again, I couldn't trim it much or it would crumble. But it turned out pretty good.  This was my first attempt with Fondant, I got a recipe from my neighbor Dana. It was way easy to make, and really easy to work with.
The boys loved it! Especially Daxton. He told me that he and his friend Logan, had to keep coming and looking at it, because it was "So Cool!"

We had his party on Saturday, But his real Birthday was on Sunday. So after church, we did presents. And Cinderella made a surprise guest appearance.

She was being so cute and such a poser. I took a ton of pictures of them, their were just too many cute ones, so sorry for all the pictures.

Now off to shoot some birds!

Well, trying to shoot some birds. But he just didn't have the heart to hurt those poor Tweeties! (makes me smile)

Dax was dying to have a turn. Notice Tregan holding onto Aty for dear life! We found out that Dax is definitely Not old enough for a gun yet. haha!
So, it turned out to be a fun Weekend. He was happy! And Well, I think his dad was a little happy for a BB gun as well.

Happy Birthday Treg!
Every year when my kids have a birthday, I write a few things about them, the number of how old they are. So here is goes...

#2 He is an awesome basketball player
#3 He is super smart in school, and he reads way above his level
#4 He loves, loves, to play video games. That is all he would do all day, every day, if I would let him.

#6 He loves to watch movies with his family

New Beginnings and Happy Endings

 THE SCREAMING HAS ENDED!

This little Munchkin has FINALLY stopped Screaming at night. It took almost three weeks of the binki being gone, and she has finally adjusted. Thank Heavens. That was a long three weeks...
Now if only I could get her to stop getting into EVERYTHING! This is how I found her the other day when I got out of the shower. I usually lock her in my bedroom with some toys, while I shower. I had gotten out, and she was not in my room. (she has figured out how to take off the door handle locks now) I called for her and she kept saying "one sec"(which is her fav thing to say now, she learned that from Tregan) I knew she was up to no good. Doesn't she look so beautiful? I think she kinda looks like Raggedy Ann.
The boys started baseball this past month. Jayson is Daxton's coach. Which is way fun for both of them. We should be finishing up the season next week. BUT, since Utah loves to rain. UGH!! most of our games have been cancelled. So, we will be playing for a few more weeks I guess. Daxton is loving it. Tregan thinks it is ok.

Other news:
School gets out Tommorow! Oh Goodness! My boys are So excited. I am not looking forward to the fighting and chaos. But it will be nice to have them home more now. Also... as far as New Beginnings go.. Jayson has accepted a job. YAY!! Some of you may know that we have been job hunting for a few months now. Things have really slowed down with his appraising business in the last 6 months. And we just couldn't hold on much longer. He reluctantly decided to try and get a new full time day job, and have his apprasing be his part time job. After waiting a month to hear back from the job he applied for and wanted. The news was good! He starts Monday! We are all So Happy and So relieved. But also, nervous and kinda sad that we won't be able to see him all the time. This will be his first job in the 12 years that we have been married, that he didn't work either close to home or in our home. We will miss having him around all the time. Being able to talk to him whenever we want, have him eat lunch with us, and to say " hey watch Aty while I run to the store"  (Sniff, sniff) It is going to be a big adjustment!  I am getting teary eyed just talking about it.
But So Good, to have a steady income now and benefits! Oh goodness. So nice!! So we are all happy.
Here is to our new ventures!
This picture was supposed to be at the top, but I can't get it to move where I need it. So it is here instead.
My little batwoman!
