Dax Turns 10!

Daxton Turned 10 in September!

I know I say this a lot, but I wish I could freeze time. Why do my kids keep growing up? It makes me sad. I miss the days of having my two little boys running around. Of course, I love having my girl now. But those few years, with my two sweet little boys, who loved each other so much. They did everything together. Dax would be so sad when Tregan was at kindergarten. When it was time for school to be out,  we would walk to the school to pick him up and Daxton would run to Tregan and give him a hug. SO SWEET!  I wish they still loved each other that much...
Tregan is getting into the moody pre-teen stage. So everything Dax does, irritates him.
We are entering a new phase..:/  (that's me cringing my teeth)

Every birthday, I decorate the house and make signs or posters. Now my boys are getting older, I have been trying to do new and different things. I decided to toilet paper Daxton's room. filled his bed with balloons and airheads. And made a sign that said "Sometimes your and airhead, but we love you!" he really is an airhead sometimes, we tease him about it. He always keeps us laughing.
The thing I love most about him, is how innocent minded he is and the funny ways he interprets things we say sometimes. He is always happy and so sweet. He really is the sweetest, best boy!

To celebrate his birthday I let him choose a friend, to take to the new jumpy trampoline place in town.
He chose Mitchell.  He is a boy that lives a couple streets away. Dax became friends with him last year when they had a class together. Since then, they are in-seperable. Dax can't live without him. They are always together. We tease him a lot. Luckily we really like Mitchell though.
Mitchell gave him the mask and gun get-up, he is wearing above. He was in heaven!

Later that night, when Jayson got home. We went to the school carnival, and then let Dax choose where he wanted to go eat. He chose Wendys. It is always nice when your kids choose somewhere like that. lol!

He really wanted an airsoft gun. Jayson had an M-16 one, we got him a couple years ago. He ended up giving it to Dax because he knew how bad he wanted one. Then we caved and ended up getting him an air pistol too.  This kid is obsessed with guns. He is like his daddy!

We Love our Sweet Daxy!

Aty loves, loves him, until he starts teasing her and she is screaming. Which is pretty much an everyday occurrence at our house! They play so good together and she copies everything he does. But he can make her scream like no one else! He is such a tease!

Graduation

I had my Preschool Graduation for my two classes, the first part of June.   And let me just say, I have finally learned my lesson! I over Plan! And it is Not Worth the stress and work! It all turned out Fabulous! But honestly, I think the parents would have been just as happy, with a couple songs and a goodbye!  Oh Well! That's what I get for being an over achiever when it comes to parties and preschool right?  I usually make scrapbooks for each student also, this year I decided to do something that would take less work and cost less. So I made each of them a cd with music and pictures of class fun and field trips. It turned into hours upon hours, of work and I don't think any of them ended up working for the parents. I guess the program I used to burn the cd is not compatible with a lot of dvd players. WHAT?? So that was crappy and made me mad.
Don't get me wrong! The graduation turned out great! And I LOVE teaching. It was just kind of an eye opener for me. Sometimes I stretch myself too thin.

Anyway, here is an abundance of Super Cute Pictures, of the Big Night!

My Little Ballerina

Aty took dancing again this year. It was Ballet this time. She didn't seem to like it as much as last year. Not Jazzy enough, I guess. She was very excited to get to wear her pretty pink dress though! This time they performed twice. Once at Lagoon. Which was a huge pain in the butt by the way, and once at the outdoor theater in Layton. I took aty alone to Lagoon, because we would of had to pay for everyone to get in, LAME!  We all went and watched her other performance though.

Jayson and the boys, got pretty bored sitting through all those dances. Aty was one of the first ones to perform, so it was torture for them. Hence the happy faces. Poor boys!
Girls are so FUN!

Spring Outings

Right before school ended, We took the kids to the Living Planet Aquarium. It was a great idea when we planned it. But it was one of those things, we thought later, "We should have stayed home"   Aty was grumpy and hungry the whole time, and whiny. Needless to say, it turned out being Not So Fun.  We made the most of it though. We left earlier then planned and got her fed!

For one of our last Field Trips for my preschool, I took my classes to the Zoo.

I  had to add, a few pictures of Aty and her Besties..
Aty, Avery, and Aiden

This was a Huge Orangutan! It was so cool. Avery's mom Melissa,
was Blowing it kisses through the glass and all the sudden it stared copying her and doing it back. It was cool! So Smart, those monkeys are!

Tregan Turns 12

I realized that I have gotten So, far behind.. So I am going to try and do a quick Catch Up!

Tregan Turned 12 in June!

This was the first year Ever, that he got to be in school for his Birthday! School ended the next day. Because of this, I wanted to make it Super Special! And maybe embarrass him a little! :)
Aty and I got him some balloons and took them to his class with some donuts for everyone. He actually handled it pretty well. But he did make Aty, take the balloons with her when we left. HAHA!

I had to get real creative, for presents this year. He didn't give me any ideas of what to get him. So, we got him a bunch of his Favorites and made him a poster. I also filled up a bag of random stuff, he likes. I was a little worried, he would be embarrassed or disappointed when he came home to all the cheesy stuff I had laying out for him. (he is getting to that age now, that I embarrass him) Much to my surprise, he was excited and loved it all! YAY! (guess he is still my little boy inside, afterall )

This is the first year, that I have not made a special cake for him. Since it was the end of school and I had just finished up, a very busy week.  Finishing up my Preschool and doing a huge Graduation, that took tons of preparation and work.  His birthday kinda snuck up on us. When I realized I should have been taking the time to plan out his cake and birthday better, I asked him what he wanted and he said that he was ok to just have a normal cake. It was kinda sad, in a way. He is getting so big now! But kinda nice, not spending hours upon hours and stressing over cake making. We spent the evening as a family and then a couple days later, we took him to Logan to his Grandma's. His two boy cousins were staying with her and he wanted to celebrate his birthday with them. He hardly ever sees them. Dawson, is just a year older then him, and they get along really well. We took them to a place called 'Classic Fun Park" they played laser tag and arcade games. They had lots of fun!

Head Massager
(Aty loved it)

Daxton shared in the excitement, about the game

That Sunday, Tregan was given the Priesthood. It was a very emotional experience for me. I am so proud of him.  He was Super Excited!!
