Our Week

I figured it was time for a new post, so here's what we have been up to...

First of all, I have to say, we are Loving being in our house! Every day, I just think how grateful I am, to be in a house again. Having our own space, having room for our stuff, and just being a family again. I know that this past almost two years, has been a trial for us, and we have become closer because of it, but I have to say, Apartments and the basement of my parents house, is not the ideal place for a family of three!

(this is only a couple of their friends they play with, they literally play with about 10 kids at a time, it is insane how many kids live on this road)

The kids have been having a blast, just playing with all the neighbor kids every day, all day! They just run back and forth from our house to the neighbors, playing in the water, slip and sliding, swinging, jumping, riding bikes... They are literally exhausted by nightime.
Aty wants to be oustide with the kids every second as well. When she is not out playing, she is following her mommy around, and getting into mischief. She got a hold of the sharpie the other day, If you look close you can see it on her arm and leg. I can't leave her alone for one second. She is such a terror! Oh my goodness, if she wasn't so dang cute....

I finally convinced Jayson to take a little break from his work, and take us to the zoo the other day. The baby elephant was our favorite. Aty loved running all over, and well, her stroller pretty much just held the diaper bag. The best attraction there though, was the big marble ball that spins in water. My kids sat and played with that longer then they looked at any of the animals. Figures!

Tregan got to mow the lawn for the first time. Which he loved! It brought back memories of when Jayson used to put him on the riding lawn mower with him, when he was just tiny. he would just hang out on his lap the whole time he mowed. it was so adorable. AWW! And now here he is 9 years old, and mowing the lawn on his own. (sniff sniff)

We made the long treck to Idaho, bright and early this Saturday morning, to see my neice be baptized. Aty was Not happy to be woken up so early. So she threw a fit when I put her in the car, and was very grumpy the whole day! We rode with my sister and two of her kids. And I felt so bad because they had to listen to Aty cry the whole way home!

While we were gone, Jayson built us a garden box, and stained our deck. Tregan and Dax both have these seeds they started at school and they are growing in a pot, they are a sunflower and pumpkins. And well, obviously pumpkins are not going to grow in a pot. So we promised them we would plant a garden. We are just crossing our fingers that they grow after we tranplant them to the garden.

Later that night, we went over to my sister's house and had a bbq, and went to the Kaysville fireworks. A first for us! May I say, they were really good! The long treck back to our car was not so fun though, especially since I was carrying Aty. Having little ones sure is a workout everyday. In more ways then one. They are worth it though!
And that is what we have been up to...

It's Official!

We finally have our Own House, Again!!!

It is so nice to have our own space. And to just be together as a family, again. We are loving life!

We moved to Layton last weekend. And might I say, "we are definitely in Utah!" That is not a bad thing. It is just so funny how different people are here, compared to Arizona. We were worried, well, more dreading, that we were going to have to move on our own again. I told Jayson, jokingly, "maybe now that we are in Utah, someone will help us out." So Saturday morning, (unloading day),I had taken Atley to the store to get some donuts and drinks, leaving Jayson and the boys to start unloading the uhaul. When I got back, there were two guys from the neighborhood here, and two or three more showed up shortly after. My sister and her husband and kids, came as well. It was the fastest move in history! Then the next day, we had our neighbors knocking at our door, bringing us popcorn, and inviting us to a neighborhood BBQ. Like I said, "only in Utah." By Monday morning, all the neighborhood kids were knocking at our door, constantly wanting our boys to play with them. So needless to say, we had a nice warm welcome, and our kids have more friends then they can handle. I am sure I will be going crazy in a few weeks, when the kids won't stop knocking at the door, But... It is a good thing! We are happy!
I have to admit though, I do miss Arizona a little.

NINE

Tregan turned 9!

He had a bowling party
.

Aty had so much fun, being right in the middle of it all. Trying to steal the boys pizza, and sticking her fingers in the cupcakes. She was even stripping at one time.

He invited a few of his friends, and we went bowling, had pizzal, broke a pinata(made by us, by the way) ate cupcakes, and played! He had a blast.

Then later that night, we gathered with family, and more friends, and had cake, another pinata, and presents.

He had a bowling lane cake, bowling ball cupcakes, and bowling ball cake pops. (I was a little busy for a few days baking) It all turned out well though.
He had a super fun day. And got very spoiled!
I can't believe it has been nine years now, since he was born. Our Sweet little Tregy!
He is such a quiet, reserved little boy around others, anyway. At home, he is wild, and silly.
He loves to play the x-box, and read. (well, if it is a book he gets to choose) He is the Best big brother! He has the cutest smile, it melts my heart. I love it when he giggles. He is so smart. and loves to be with his dad. He loves to read books, and learn about how things work, and how things are made. He is alot like his daddy. We are so thankful for our sweet little(big) boy! I still remember how excited we were, the day he was born. Such a sweet, chubby, huge baby! Now he is tall, skinny and handsome! Happy Birthday Sweet Tregy! We Love You!
