Who Needs Presents?

I Celebrated my birthday this week. And in case anyone is wondering. I am Still 30! This is the first year that Jayson has not been home, when I woke up. A little sad... BUT! My boys made still made it special for me. They made me breakfast! So Sweet! I woke up to Tregan sneaking up to me in bed, and asking me if it was ok if he made me some eggs. Funny Boy! So He and Daxton, came upstairs with Eggs and toast, singing Happy Birthday to me. I had teased them a few days before, saying that I thought it was only fair that THEY made ME, a Super Awesome cake for My birthday. Since I always make them one. I told them I wanted a THOR cake. heehee! So they were talking about it for days with Jayson and how they could make it. It was so cute! Well, sad to say, but they did not make me a Thor cake. But they did make me some very cute cards, that they had colored pictures of Thor, on them. Every since I saw the movie Thor with Jayson, I have been saying how cute he is. They think it is so gross! But they were so sweet, and made me those cute cards. Earlier that morning, I had taken Jayson to the train/frontrunner drop-off. So we could have the car that day. I left the kids home asleep. When I got home, Tregan and Aty were cuddling in my bed. It was So  Cute! It made my heart melt! And after all the cute stuff the boys did for me later that morning. Which, I failed to mention. They did make me a cake. It was just a regular chocolate cake, but then we they added ice cream in it. (with a little help)   Anyway,  I was feeling Very Loved that morning. And So Grateful for my Sweet Little Kids! I was thinking to myself, as I was looking at Tregan and Aty cuddling, how lucky I was to have them, and how complete and happy they make me feel. At that very moment I thought " I don't need any presents today, these are my presents." Luckily, the feeling carried with me, the rest of the day. They were so good, all day!

We had planned to go to Liberty Park with some of our neighbor friends that day. We went there to play at the splash park, but we discovered this really cool place with all these fountains running all over. We had never been here before, so it was way fun, for my kids. I was worried, that we were going to have to try and think of something else to do, to kill time until Jayson got off work. But, we spent like 4 hours there. It was so nice, to just hang out, relax and talk to friends. This was the first birthday in a long time, that I have really done anything. Usually I just hang out at home all day and then maybe go to dinner that night, or something.

After we were done, we heading over to pick up Jayson. We waiting in the parking lot for a little bit, we took pictures to keep us occupied!  Silly, Silly!!
We had intentions of going to dinner, but Aty was So tired by then. Jayson really wanted to get me a cheescake from the Cheesecake Factory! If you have never tried it. You are Totally missing out! It is to die for! The food there is just ok, but we decided rather then go somewhere else to eat, and then go there. We would just eat there, and get the cheescake for the road. Well, the wait was 30 minutes. Aty made it about 5 of those minutes before her meltdown. So, we decided to just get the cheesecake, and get out of there. On the way back, I was really wanting some PF Changs. So we called it in, and stopped and picked it up. With a quick stop to grab some chicken nuggets for my starving, tired baby girl. She ate, and was out in a few minutes. So, I still got to have my favorite food and desert, just at home. But it was nice and peaceful. So I didn't mind much!

Some of you may know already, but.. I am a Huge Tim Mcgraw fan. I have already seen him in concert like 3 or 4 times. Even counting last year. With my nieces.( So fun!) Anyway, he was coming to concert on Saturday, which happened to be the day after my Birthday. I had been hinting to Jayson that I really wanted to go. So.. That is where we went. YAY!!! My mom came down, and watched our kids so we could go.  The concert was at Usana, which is an outdoor place. We were on the grass. So we had to go real early to get a good spot. Which made for a lot of waiting. Luckily, their was a breeze, so it wasn't too hot. The bands that opened for him, were not very good this year. So that was a bummer. We just sat and people watched for a couple of hours. (Jayson's favorite thing) And then Tim came out! AAAAHHHH!
I had brought Tregan's camera with me, but decided to leave it in the car. Thinking that I wouldn't be close enough to see him to take a picture anyway. Well, to my dismay, and happiness. He came out in the middle, which was just below where we were standing. I ran like crazy, up to where he was and tried to take pictures with my phone, but as you can see, they did not turn out very good. You can see him on the side screens though.
He is the speck in the middle.
So mad, I didn't bring in the camera! Oh, well. I saw him in real life, closer then I ever have! Which made my night!
We had a good time,  the hour wait to get out of the parking lot, was not fun however. We decided we are getting a little too old to do these late night things! haha! And to think we used to stay up until like 3 and 4 in the morning when we dated. Just hanging out talking in the parking lot of my apartment. Because we didn't want to be apart. Ha, now we are lucky to be up past 12. Funny how things change.

So, after the long post. (sorry) I had a Fabulous Birthday!

More Summer Lovin

( I apologize now for the gobs of pictures, but if you know me, I love to take pictures. I kept saying to Jayson, "take some of me with the kids so when we look back years from now we will know I was there too. "Dax said, um who would be taking the pictures, I think we know"

We went up to Logan over the weekend of the 24th and stayed at my parents house.
We went to Bear Lake for the first time this Summer!  It was a bad day to go, being the holiday weekend
it was Very Crowded! But we managed to squeeze our family into a spot on the beach. A nice man even let us borrow his shade umbrellla. I guess he was feeling bad for us since we were the only ones on the beach without one.
Aty had a blast playing in the sand

We bought her this turtle last Summer, and she was terrified of it. She refused to get in it. This year she jumped right in. and loved it. We spent a lot of time playing in the water.

Hanging with Mom! Soaking in the Sun!

Tregan got water in his ear, so he was laying down trying to get it to come out. The boys were in swimming lessons for the last two weeks, and he kept getting water in his ears. I finally decided to go and buy him some ear plugs when we got back home, and that helped!

Jumping in the waves!

Sitting in the Waves!
She spent forever in this spot, just playing in the waves and digging up sand and seashells

That night at my parents house, Dax was goofing around and jumping off the couch. Tregan just "happened "to be kicking his leg out at the same time, and gave dax a black eye!
Poor Buddy! He woke up with his eye all swollen
The next morning we wanted to take the boys on a hike up to White Pine Lake. Tregan decided he didn't want to go. So he stayed and helped Grandma take care of Aty. And Jayson, Daxton and I went. He was such a trooper! He kept saying, "I think we have gone three miles now" His little legs got tired, but he kept on walking. We were almost there and he wanted to quit, but we wouldn't let him. We told him he Had to make it to the lake, or he would have hiked all that way for nothing.

He found a walking stick on the way, to help him out.
Being up at Tony's Grove. There was still a ton of snow everywhere. We had to cross over a few spots of snow. And there were a lot of streams because of the melting snow. We got to a spot near the lake that was really muddy, so we had to make our own trail through the fallen tree stumps and snow. This is a log that Jayson and Dax jumped off of into the snow.  Dax contemplated about the jump for a while. Jayson jumped and nearly fell on his bum. So then Dax wasn't sure if he wanted to try it.  It took some coaxing, but he finally did it. He liked it so much, he had to climb up and do it again.

Here is the beautiful view, when you get to the lake

This was one of my favorite spots on the hike
It was just a long path of old, dead, curving trees.

Oh, and we found a huge snake too! (just kidding)
We took this picture to try and fool Tregan, so he would think he missed out on a big snake. He wasn't very fooled!

On our way back down from the hike. Daxton's poor little legs had just gone too far. So the last 10 minutes or so, Jayson carried him on his back. ( such a big, strong daddy)

It turned out to be a bit longer of a hike then we expected. But it was so pretty up there! And we had fun, just hanging with Daxton. It has been a few years since it was just him, Jayson and I. We used to hang out and play while Tregan was in school. Then of course, Aty came along.

Jayson went home that night, so he could work the next day. The kids and I, stayed over one more night, and went to the parade with my mom.  That night, she took us to Brigham where Jayson was meeting us to drive us home. We brought my niece, Shyanne home with us for a few days. We went to the Aquarium one day and to The Gateway, and to Seven Peaks. We had a lot of fun and kept busy. It was nice to finally hang out and do nothing by that Friday. The kids finished up their swimming lessons. And they are even more awesome swimmers then they already were! And now we are trying to fill our days with as much as we can before school starts in a few weeks! Yuck!

The Aquarium!
Aty really liked the Jellyfish

Oh, and in other news!

Miss Aty Bell  (besides looked super cute in her ballerina helmet) is officially POTTY TRAINED! HURRAY!!!!!
She finally got to call Cinderella, which was her prize for pooping. (sorry potty talk)
She thought that was So cool!  She Loves being a big girl! And her bum looks so dang cute, in those panties!

Summer Lovin

Some of the things we LOVE to do in the Summer..

Eat Watermelon

Have a visit from our Best, Longest, Friends!
Hayley, Anna, Emmie, Fin, and Oliver

Aty and Fin hangin!
Their mom Angie, has been my friend since I was pregnant with Tregan. So more then 10 years! We both lived in Nibley at the time. She then moved to St. George for a little while. We were keeping in contact through e-mail at the time. And we both announced to each other we were pregnant. Her with Anna, Me with Dax. She was due a few weeks before me. But I ended up having Daxton early. So they are now a week apart.  She then moved back to Logan, and built a house not too far from us. That was when Jayson announced we were moving to Arizona. I cried! Because I had Finally got to live close to her, and he was moving me! We lived apart for 5 years, and then we moved back to Logan for a short time. By this time she had Emmie and Fin. We played as much as we could for the short time we lived close again. And then, we moved away AGAIN! Our friendships still goes on through all those years. I love her! She is the cutest mom. She has the cutest kids. For the longest time, we would tell me boys, "we are going to play with the girls" and they knew right who I was talking about. But now it is not just" the girls" anymore.  We don't see them much, but we always have fun when we do.
Going to the Zoo!
Aty was terrified of the new dinasours they have

We also learned that Saturday, is not a good day to go. It was Packed with people! Insane! And we also learned that my boys are kinda starting to be too old for the zoo. Sniff! We were glad we had coupons and got in cheap because most of the animals were sleeping or gone and it was hot. And Dax just wanted to go home. It is kinda hard when you lived by a super fun zoo for 4 years and you come here. It just doesn't compare to the ones on Az.
Jumping on the Tramp with the sprinkler!
This is Aty's new favorite thing to do. She says, " I want to do spinklers, I wanna swim" and puts her hand up in the air.
