VIVA LAS VEGAS

We went to the Rainforest Cafe

The whole place is decorated like a rainforest, and they have a bunch of animals hanging everywhere, that move and make sounds. It was kind dark inside, so some of pics, didn't turn out. Aty was terrified of the snake.

This was across from our hotel at the NY/NY Aty loves this boat!
She also loved the many fish aquariums we saw in multiple hotels

Our Hotel ( The Excalibur)We wanted to go to the Tournament of Kings dinner, but we decided that Aty probably wouldn't stay on our laps and hold still long enough.
We walked and walked and walked

So we decided to go to Caesars Palace to see the FAO Swartz toy store that is supposed to be there. WELL... Jayson said "it is just down the street." UM, No! It was down the street, around the corner, up and down a million times, and 10 miles later... We get there and NO Toy Store!! We were dead by the time we got back later that night. Dax wasn't feeling well that night, so he took turns riding on Jayson's shoulders and in the stroller. While, I carried or chased Aty. Jayson was the most exhausted (obviously) by the time we got back to our hotel hours later. I found out the next day, that Oh, they closed that toy store down. That would have been nice to know.

(Ok, so this was supposed to be at the beginning, but I got sick of dragging pictures around, so it is a little out of order, but oh well!)
We
decided to surprise the kids and take them to Vegas for Spring Break. They had no idea we were even planning to go anywhere. It was driving Tregan crazy not knowing where we were going.. (haha)We made him wait the whole drive. Well, he guessed it once or twice, but we played like he wasn't right. He finally knew for sure when we got to Nevada. He was watching the signs the whole way.

We had LOTS of FUN!! We kept Very Busy! Daxton had a terrible cold while we were there, and he had a couple of really sick days. Poor Buddy! He was such a tropper though. Aty had a few sleepless, screaming nights. And I wasn't feeling too great either. Needless to say, We did have a few Sleepless Nights at the hotel. So I was a zombie by the last couple of days. But it didn't really effect our fun much.
We went to M&M World
We spent an Entire Day at CIRCUS CIRCUS

Aty could only go on a few rides. This was her favorite.
The boys had SO MUCH FUN! They had two rides that they went on multiple times
We played a ton of arcade games. Aty even got into it. Especially the car ones.

We also went to the Shark Reef at Madalay Bay, and the Wax Museum. So Fun!
We took a ton of pictures at the museum, so I will have to put a slideshow on here of those.

Happy Easter!

We had the traditional easter egg hunt on Saturday, with the cousins. (In the snow) Nothing like Easter in the snow right?

Easter Morning

Tregan woke up early, and had pretty much spotted all the eggs before Dax woke up. Stinker!

Aty was a little confused at first as to what was going on, but she caught on pretty quick, and was finding eggs.

She was more interested in her candy then anything else in her basket. She kept going over and grabbing a piece and walking around, then would come back for more.

The boys got the movie they wanted, Tregan got the last, Diary of A Wimpy Kid book. and some other fun stuff. And of course, Candy!
Such a Fun Easter!

A Not So Funny, April Fools

This morning I was letting Aty run around without a diaper on. Which I never do. But she had just tried to go potty, and she was having fun running around naked. I was vacuming and thinking to myself. "I hope she doesn't pee on the floor" I turned the vacum off, and heard her saying "whats that?" I looked across the room at her, and she was holding her hand out and had a yucky look on her face. I thought, "Oh No she peed" Well, she went potty alright. But not pee!
It was all over her hands and legs, and even some in her hair. It was on the floor in a few places. What a Mess! I grabbed her and ran for the bathroom. Luckily Jayson was downstairs working at the time. I yelled for him, and he came up and bathed her while I cleaned up the mess. Oh my goodness! The cute thing of it all though, is that she had tried to wipe it up herself, with a towel. I know that is not really that cute of an image. But I just thought it was funny that she knew to clean it up.

Lesson learned: No letting her run naked!

By the way, Borax works great to remove stains.

(Jayson can't believe that I am posting about this, because he is still so grossed out! HAHA! But I had to remember this terrible April Fools Joke Aty played on me. LOL!)

On Another Note:

(Here is my other, not so fun day this week)

So Aty has been waking up a ton at night, (more then usual) She just can't seem to get comfortable. I was a little concerned but didn't really know what the reason was. So then she started running a fever on Monday. I decided I should maybe have her ears checked. I take her in to the Doc, and he checks everything. He says everything looks ok, so then he wants to check for a possible U.T.I Since she is not potty trained, he tells me that they will have to use a cathader to get a sample. WHAT? I was not happy. So they do it, she cries. And they can't get enough of a sample to tell, so they ask me to bring her back first thing in the morning to have it done again. Seriously? So I pull her out of bed, run her in, and she screams while they are doing it, I am trying to console her and not cry myself. They say the results are clear. I was so Mad! I can't belive she had to go through that twice. My poor baby girl! So we have no idea what is wrong with her, they said to just watch and see if she ends up getting sick with something. Whatever! I am so sick of going to the Doctor!

On the way home from school today, Dax asks me "so what was wrong with Aty?" I tell him, "Nothing, or they don't know I guess" He says well then why was she crying, screaming,... I said " I don't know" And he says "I think she wants a dog!"
haha! Any chance my boys get to mention getting a dog, they try it. Such a silly boy.

This is what my boys do when they get really bored!

Goof Balls!
