10 Years Later...

It all began 13 years ago, on a hot summer night.
There I was at my apartment, sitting on a chair
When to my surprise, A boy walked by,
with wavy, long brown hair.
I laughed and thought, "What a Wierdo!"

But then we met again...
I snuck out late, we had a date.

And then we fell in love.

Two years went by,
You said Goodbye...
And headed off to Marines.

We wrote letters and talked on the phone.
We made our wedding plans.
You came home, we got engaged

Which led to this great day.
May 14th, 10 years ago,
Became our Wedding Day!

I think back to the nights we fell in love, and how much fun we had.
Now here we are 10 years later, me a Mom, and you a Dad!
I love you more today, then I did that Summer night.
My love for you, grows more and more each day.

Just as I said back then, you are, and always will be, "My Dream Man"
