It was Dr Seuss week at the boys school last week. They were supposed to dress up as their favorite book character. We tried to think of an idea of what they could be. And had no ideas, or clothes to use. They both really wanted to be Cat in the Hat. So I got an idea to look up how to make a hat on the internet. After many hours, and the help of Jayson(to make the brim, since I cannot cut out a circle) we made these Awesome hats. Tregan came up with the idea of making the masks. He had made masks out of milk cartons in scouts a while back, so we copied the pattern, and they made these. They were both So Excited! They woke up an hour earlier then normal, and ran into our room at 8:05 to wake us up, so they wouldn't be late for school. We don't leave for school until 8:40! They were fully dressed, and had even gotten their own breakfast. This Never Happens!!! It was like Christmas morning to them. HAHA! They decided not to wear their masks to school though, because of the no mask rule, at halloween. I was bummed, because I thought they looked really cool, with the mask and hat. But oh well! They still looked cute in their hats.
AND HERE IS WHAT ATY, HAS BEEN UP TO ...
I made cookies the other morning, and they were laying on wax paper to cool. I went downstairs for one minute, and left Aty playing in the laundry room. I heard a noise, and went up to check on her. This is what I found. She climbed up on the counter, knocked over her raspberry smoothie, (it was dripping on the floor) she grabbed a cookie or two, and was playing with the sink sprayer when I found her. What a Mess!!!
She brought out a bunch of her pj's, and begged Jayson to put them all on her. Then she pranced around the house.
