Holiday

Guess it it time to add the Christmas Post...

This Christmas was a little different then most.  It just seemed like there was so much going on with us, that we didn't really get into the Christmas Spirit! Well, the kids probably did, but Jayson and I, not so much!
Myself, recovering from my surgery, I was tired and didn't have a lot of motivation to try and get things done. I hardly even baked anything, like I normally do. It was a Low Key Christmas at our house, For Sure!
But it was Ok! The kids were still Happy! And it was nice to be able to go to church this year, and sing Christmas songs and to think about the True Meaning of Christmas!

This year I decided against buying the premade gingerbread house. It never works out when we try to decorate it! It just turns into a mess! So, we made little graham cracker houses.

They had lots of fun doing them.

We did however,  make the Traditional Gingerbread Man cookies! But only because Tregan begged me to make them, for days and days! Each year we make these, a  few come ALIVE! and they create all sorts of havoc! They boys couldn't WAIT to see what they would do this time!

We spent Christmas Eve Afternoon, at my parents house. We ate, and opened presents from Grandpa and Grandma! Here is Aty modeling her Super Cute Apron she got! She wore it the entire day!

After we left my parents house, we stopped by our Long Time Best Friends, house.( The Andersen's)  It was fun to see them, it has been a while since we have gotten together. They talked us into staying and eating with them. And the girls chased my boys around the house! We hung out and played for a while.
Then it was time to head home and see if our PJ Elf, had arrived.
He Did! So it was time to put on our PJ's and read the Christmas Story. We also took turns reading parts of the Night Before Christmas poem.  We set out our cookies and milk for Santa. And carrots for the reindeer. Then it was OFF TO BED!

The boys decided to wake up earlier then Ever, this year! Tregan came into my room at 5:00. I told him he had to go back to bed. By 5:40 I saw all the hall lights on, and could hear him and Daxton talking. This woke up Aty. So ,We all got up!

This year, Santa left a note and two lines of string, leading to the boys big presents. So, after they opened all the little stuff. They took turns following their lines to the Surprise!

Aty got a Princess Castle!
I was a slacker with pictures taking, as well.
So, We didn't get any PJ pics or Family pics in front of the tree either.
Just took a quick one of Aty in her new Christmas Dress Grandma gave her.
On our way to church!

She also got a bunch of sparkly makeup, and jewelry, Oh and a Super Cute TuTu! (Also from Grandma)
She spent most of the day just sitting at the table, playing in her makeup, putting it all over her face and her mermaid dolls face.

Now we come to the end of Another Year! It amazes me How Fast time goes by. And Sad, how fast my kids are growing up!

Here is to a New Year! Hoping it is a Great One!
