Big Boy Scouts

Now that Tregan has turned 11, he is officially in the BIG BOY Scouts. (As I like to call them) Or Cubscouts. I am not really ok, with this yet. They had an over-nighter at Bear Lake the week he turned 11. They had not contacted him yet, so I just let that slip right on by... I was Not Ready for him to go that far and sleep over.

The last Pack Meeting, He was awarded his Webelos badge.  He also earned his Arrow Of Light. Our neighbor owns a Falcon, that he brings to these events. He has a whole presentation, he does. He relates the falcon to the Eagle, and all the parts of the bird and how it relates to the Scout promise.

We are So proud of him!  He has really enjoyed scouts up to this point. Like I said, I am Not looking forward to the big scout over- night camps and stuff.  In his new group, he only knows one of the boys. So it will take some adjusting. But I am sure he will like it, as well.
