Dinosaurs and Old Friends

Yesterday, we met up with some of our old Friends. My friend Megan, and her four kids. Megan and I met in Arizona. She just had Scottie, and Savanna at the time, and was pregnant with Luke. They moved into our ward, a few months after we had lived there. We became friends shortly after.
Scottie and Savanna, are the same age as Tregan and Dax. So we played a lot, when we lived in Az. Megan and her family moved back to Utah in the Winter of 2009. We were sad to see them leave. But.. then as fate would have it. We moved back, that same Summer. YAY! They moved to Provo though, so we didn't see them a whole lot. We have tried to get together, at least once a year. Long story.. We finally figured out a day to get together, and now they have moved to Lehi, which is a little closer to us.

We met up at Thanksgiving Point. It was $2 Tuesday. So we went to the Dinosaur Museum. It was really fun! They had some really cool things to see. It amazes me, how big things were then. They had a few displays that were supposed to represent the way things looked back in the dinosaur days. Their was one that had a bug 6 ft long.  Holy Cow, that is Gross! It was Really crowded, so we had to kind of walk fast and squeeze our way in, to see things. I wish we could have taken a little more time and enjoyed it more. The kids were just having fun seeing each other again. I think Megan and I, had more fun enjoying the displays them the kids. Funny! At the end their was a display with a machine that created a tornado. The kids looked at that, forever. We laughed, that next time we would just bring them to the lobby and let them see that for free.  I asked the boys if they had fun when we were in the car, and Tregan said " it was ok, kinda boring" I was like "what?" and he says, "well you can blame my teacher for that, I have learned way too much about dinosaurs at school, so it isn't that cool anymore." Such a turd! haha!

Aty was a little scared. She was grumpy and clingy the whole time we were in there. I thought she was just hungry, but I figured out that she was a little scared, as well.

They have all grown up so much! It is sad...
They were like 4, and 2 when we lived there. It is so fun, that we can still see them. They were all excited to see each other again. We went to see their new house after, and they played like not a day had gone by, since they last saw each other. And Megan and I, just talked and talked, like we do so well! It was fun to see them.  I loved it! We decided we need to try really hard, to get together more.
