Summer Comes to an End

The Dreaded day has arrived..

School has Started again!

We had to hurry and squeeze in some last minute fun, before the big day arrived. We headed up to Logan last Friday for my haircut appointment. We went to lunch with Grandma, did some last minute clothes shopping. Then met we our friends at Willow Park. We ran around, fed the ducks, saw the animals, and had snow cones. So much Fun!!

The boys took Aty on her First Skateboard Ride!
She loved it! they took her up and down, our neighbors driveway over and over. Trying every position they could think. She had a big grin on her face.

Did some Sumo Wrestling!
On Sunday, the boys were bored and trying to think of entertainment. They were so hyper! Guess they were a little excited for school the next day. This is one of the many things, they thought of to do.

The next morning, it was Back To Business.
We all woke up bright and early, to get ready for school.
The night before we had made a quick trip back up to Logan to a viewing. On the way home, Tregan said to me "Mom can you wake me up when you leave to take dad to the train, I want to get in the shower, and put some of that stick stuff in my armpits, and brush my teeth and use listerene. Oh and some cologne!"
I was trying to so hard not to laugh. I just had a huge grin on my face. This is coming from my son that Hates to brush his teeth, Hates to takes showers. He even Hates to wash his hands! I couldn't believe he was saying this. Daxton yes, but Tregan?
And well, he got up and showered, brushed his teeth, and got smelling nice. He even picked out his outfit the night before. (so not like him)
I guess he is finally at the age where he wants to impress the ladies! (don't say that to him though)

This is how Aty felt about getting up early and rushing off.
She is So Not a morning person. Guess she got that from her mommy.
She sat up in my bathroom for at least 5 minutes screaming before we left for school.
Hopefully she gets used to this new routine soon. Or it is going to get really old.

Here they are, looking so handsome! In their fancy black shirts. When we bought Dax his shirt, they were fighting because Tregan wanted the same one. I told them no way was I going to buy two. I compromised and got a bigger size so they could Both wear it.
But then we found one similiar to it, when we went shopping with my mom. So Tregan got one of his own.

Tregan was Really sad, thinking about having to leave Aty all day. He kept saying the night before how much he would miss her. So he got some good quality time with her before we left.

This is how Aty felt about the whole thing!
She made me carry her, and her backpack, all through the school as we dropped the boys off at their classes. She had to give them each kisses, and we even had to go back and look in Tregan's classroom to see him one last time. As we were walking out of the school, she said. "I go school"  I told her that only the boys were. She stopped and pulled her sad, pouty face.

On the drive home. I asked her if she wanted to go for a walk and she said, "Ya. Tregy come?" and I said "no he is at school" then she asked "oh, Daxy come?" And I told her he was at school too. And she said "oh" in a sad voice. And that was when I started to cry!
I was fine all morning, just happy that they were so excited. But then it hit me that they were gone all day now and we wouldn't get to walk with them anymore. SAD!

So now we are on day 4, and they are really liking it. Aty asks for them ALL DAY LONG. But we are trying to stay entertained.
