I was just so tired of trying to comb through the snarls everyday, with her screaming. She was actually really excited! She was being silly the whole time we were there, pulling funny faces and stuff.
The Before Picture
Getting it washed
Being Silly!
Here we Go..
No turning back now!
4 Inches off!
Getting it all curled!
All done!
She jumped off the chair, looked down and saw all her hair laying on the ground. She went over and picked it up and was looking at it, all sad. Then she just dropped it on the ground. She didn't even say anything. It was kinda funny!
Here is the back!
She likes it. It looks a lot healthier now and no more snarls. YAY!
Now when I tell her it is time to comb her hair she says "No, I cut it!" She thinks it does not need to be combed now, because I kept telling her when it was long and snarly, that we were going to just cut it so it was not so snarly. So, she got it in her head that meant, she did not ever have to get is combed again.
I struggle some days now, trying to figure out how to style it now though. It is just nice being able to comb it, with no crying!
A few weeks after her haircut, I was driving up to Logan to get my haircut. I got thinking about her hair, and how maybe I should get my hair cut a little bit. I have been growing my hair out for a few years now. I have always been one to cut it short, every time I would go to the stylist. In highschool, I had really long hair. By the time I met Jayson in college, it was short and layered. It has been short and some sort of layered style, our whole marriage. Jayson prefers it long, so he has begged me for years to grow it out. So I finally gave in, a few years ago. Just getting trims, when necessary.
I was getting kinda sick of my style lately, so I thought "Aty's is cute, maybe I should just cut a little off of mine. So I did. And now, I am not too happy, with my decision. I do not like it much!
I am hoping it grows fast. As Jayson likes to tell me "You should just listen to me!"
Well that only applies to haircuts. Because otherwise, I know it all, and he needs to listen to me! Ha!
