We had a fun Christmas this year. The boys are getting older and starting to ask for bigger presents. No toys this year. (sniff) Tregan wanted an ipod touch. Dax wanted football gloves. Aty wanted, well everything she saw really! This was the first year she was brave enough to sit on santa's lap. And she had to do it everywhere we went. After three different visits to see Santa. I had to put my foot down and say "That is enough visits now!" She told them all the same thing though "I want a dreamlite and stompies" only she can't pronounce stompies right, it sounds more like Zombies. Jayson would tease her and she would get so mad!
Santa came through for us and they all got what they wanted.
He is hoping so bad, it is an Ipod!
Funny story about this. I ordered this Ipod from the Apple store, It did not arrive when it was supposed to. So after some researching, I was told it had been safely delivered and signed for, at my address. WHAT?? No it had not! So after about 24 hours of sheer panic and many phone calls. Checking with all the neighbors and calling UPS over and over. Turns out, the delivery guy gave it to the neighbors across the street. The new neighbors, that I did not know. And, who seemed to be out of town! I was dying! I did not know how I was going to be able to find it, or even replace it. After many inquiries and good friends. I got a hold of the neighbors and the husband came home and brought it to me. PHEW! That was close. Tregan about had the worst Christmas ever!
| Aty got a Doll House! |
Santa even set up her princess dolls in it, for her.
I may have been a little more excited for this present, then her.
| Dream Lite! |
Dax inherited Jayson's old Ipod. We decided he was not old enough for an Ipod touch, yet.
He got some Awesome new headphones, for it too.
He carries that thing, everywhere he goes now. Aty is always trying to talk to him in the car. He sits in the back behind her, so she cant see him. He always has his headphones on, so he can't hear her. So she always says "Daxy's asleep!" Haha!
The boys both got, Heely Shoes as well. They had to follow clues around the house to find both the shoes. Tregan found one of them, in the bathtub.
We were not able to get the couches in time for Christmas though. We just picked them up a few weeks ago. It is so nice to have nice, comfy, clean couches!
Three days after Christmas, I had surgery again! I had a laparascopy done to remove my endometriosis. I am hoping two times is the charm! Because I am Not doing it again!
The boys are having a good year in school They both have really good teachers. Tregan was blessed with an Amazing teacher. She is a lady in our ward . And she has a been a huge blessing, in Tregan's and my, life. I wish she could move up with him next year.
The winter went by, we shoveled loads of snow. We had one day with a terrible ice storm. Our driveway was an ice rink. It already had some snow and ice on it and then when the freezing rain hit it is was a solid sheet about 4 or 5 inches thick. My poor preschoolers, were slipping all over the place and falling just trying to get to their parents cars. I was trying to hold them all up and not fall, myself. Jayson was in Arizona that week, he was supposed to be flying home that day. The airport was closed down, so his flight was delayed two more days. We were so sad. Tregan and I, had to try and melt and chop away, at the ice. So I could at least drive the car in and out of the garage without slipping and getting stuck. It was so awful! So many people fell and got hurt that day.
Tregan had his Maturation program at school that day.( I know I can't believe he is getting that old!)
I was a nervous wreck, trying to get into the school without falling and slipping and getting my own kids out of the school safely, as well. I was so worried about all those little kids falling.
Teaching Preschool, continues to keep me very busy. As well as volunteering at the school on my day off.
Jayson is still working two jobs. Appraising continues to be up and down. It is a hard career to live on.
Daxton played basketball for Kaysville this year. It is his first year playing for them rather then Layton. He has became a really good player. His team however, was not real great. So it was him and two other boys running the show. Unfortuntely, one boy was a ball hog, and not a good shot. So, they did not win many games. They did however, redeem themselves in their very last game. Winning 22-9. And it just so happens, that at the very last second before the time ran out, Dax threw the ball from way far off the side of the court, and made the shot! WAHOO!! Such a Stud!
And now I am caught up! On to more adventures, in the Spring!
