A Fun Surprise!

 

Some of you might think this looks like a silly surprise. But to me, it is a huge, huge  Accomplishment. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you...
When moved  from our house to our apartment in Arizona, which was almost two years ago. We had a table that our neighbors had given to us. Before this, we had a table that Jayson had put a ton of work and swea,t into making for me. It was an old table of his sisters that he put tile on and painted. It was very cute. I loved it! But over time, the paint chipped, and the tile got gross. So he wanted to get rid of it. When my neighbors offered their old table to us, I took them up on the offer. I was very sad to get rid of the table Jayson made me. But I guess it was time.. So anyway, when we moved, Jayson said, "let's get rid of this table," we didn't really like it much anyway, and he said, "We will buy a new one" ( hahaha) I laugh at this because.. Here we are now living in Utah TWO YEARS LATER! and we have not had a kitchen table. I mean we have gotten by. We use our barstools, we stand to eat, Alot! And we use our cardtable. But part of me So misses, having a big table, a place that we can all sit together.

SO.. We have been looking here and there, for months at tables. And it has just been a dream of mine. Well, the other day, I said to Jayson, "I was thinking how fun it would be if you just surprised me one day with a table" I was totally joking, not expecting it to EVER happen. And well...
HE DID IT!!
I was completely surprised! I came downstairs and there it was. I LOVE IT !! It is so fun to have a Nice Table. I am so happy ! What a Sweetheart he is!! Today we had our first family dinner together in Two years! YAY!!!!! We told the kids that they had to call us Mother and Father Cleaver, and that Treg was Wally and Dax was Beaver. They didn't think that was very funny. I guess they don't know Leave it to Beaver. lol!
