While we were waiting for the boys to ride Rattlesnake Rapids. We were trying to keep Aty entertained. And Jayson was playing a game with her by the water, and well, she decided to throw her binki over the fence, and it fell over the cliff and into the water. I had brought an extra, but unfortunately, that was the extra one, her other one had a hole in it. And she gets very upset when that happens. So she was not happy! By now,she was way beyond nap time. I think it was around 7. At one point I thought,"well now is a good time to break her of the habit."Well, we spend the next hour and a half trying to keep her happy, and once we got in the car to drive home. She was done, and she started to SCREAM! Our house is only about 15 minutes from Lagoon. But within five minutes, I ordered Jayson to stop at the nearest store and get her a new binki. So much for breaking the habit! The second he handed her that new binki. She fell right to sleep! Poor baby! (this picture was actually taken the day after, but it truly shows just how attached she is to that darn binki. Oh man!
It doesn't really look like it, but we Did ride more rides then just the kiddie rides. I just didn't get any pictures of those ones. It is a little hard to take pictures when you are at the top of a rollercoaster! Daxton talked me into going on the white coaster with him. I used to love this one when I was younger. This time however, I guess I am getting a little too old and my stomach is a little too weak. I was SCREAMING the entire time. Dax was laughing and yelling "Wahoo" The whole time. Man, I am too old! I remember going on that over and over when I was younger. Crazy! I thought I was going to puke after. haha! I also took the boys on the music express, another fav of mine. I enjoyed it. But was a little sick after that one as well. Jayson and Dax went on a few different ones. Tregy and I however, took it easy and just went on the mellow ones after that. We had a lot of fun at Pioneer Village as well, going around looking into all the old buildings. The boys really like the one with all the old guns and stuff. So did their daddy! By the time we were done walking around, the boys were freezing though, so we couldn't talk them into going on the log ride. Bummer!
I am glad we finally made it to Lagoon! I definitely recommend going at halloween time.
The boys were asking when we can go again. Unfortunately, they will have to wait until Summer! |
I haven't been to Lagoon in years. My kids have never been...bad mom. I have been fortunate that none of my kids were binki kids. Have fun breaking that habit. :)
