Lagoon

My boys begged us, to take them to Lagoon all Summer. But we never made it. So the other day they both came home from school, with coupons for  frightmares. So we decided for UEA, that we would take them. It was decorated so fun. When it got dark, they had fog machines, and people dressed up walking around. They even had Monster Shows. Which were Monsters dancing, and singing. I think they also had some not so kid friendly, Monster shows going on as well. But we steered clear of those. We all had a blast! I was a little nervous that we would pay a ton to get in, and then the boys would not really want to go on any rides. But I was pleasantly surprised! Even Aty Loved it!

We took all the above pictures at the entrance. It was decorated really cute!

The Carousel
One of her Favorites( she rode this a few times)

The Helicopter Ride
Daxy had to ride the camo one, of course!

Chillin while the boys went on the big rides!

The boys were so cute to go on all the kiddie rides with her. Tregan was the one who alway took her with him. It was so cute, to watch them together. I think the boys were enjoying the rides as well.

Aty liked the decorations too

Carousel again. We lost the boys for a while, so we just rode this ride

Funny Faces
Tregan wasn't tall enough to reach haha!

This was taken after they had been on Rattle Snake Rapids Twice! They were Soaked! They loved every minute of it. Unfortunately, it was starting to get cooler, and within a half hour they were Freezing! We tried to talk them into walking around in with their shirts off, but they wouldn't. Jayson finally went to the car to get their jacket. Which by the way, we went back to our house to get, before we left because I was worried that it might get cold. Everyone was complaining that I had to go back and didn't want their jackets. But guess who was really happy that I did? Jayson however, did not have his, and he was really chilly by the time we left!

The Boats

Helicopter Rides Again!

Whale Ride
The boys were waiting in line to go on a ride, and Aty was getting very grouchy. She was way past a nap, and she wanted to go on EVERY ride the boys went on. And well, she couldn't. So we found this ride for her to go on by herself. She was so funny! She was loving it. She just sat and waved the whole time it was going around. She does this shakey thing with her body when she is excited, and she was doing that the whole time too. Jayson and I were laughing so hard!

  Lady Bug Ride

I realized that I had just been taking pictures the whole time, and we didn't have one of Jayson and I. So I asked Tregan to take one of us. By now it was dark and haunted! Then this lady walked up and asked if we wanted her to take one of us all. So that was nice!

While we were waiting for the boys to ride Rattlesnake Rapids. We were trying to keep Aty entertained. And Jayson was playing a game with her by the water, and well, she decided to throw her binki over the fence, and it fell over the cliff and into the water. I had brought an extra, but unfortunately, that was the extra one, her other one had a hole in it. And she gets very upset when that happens. So she was not happy! By now,she was way beyond nap time. I think it was around 7. At one point I thought,"well now is a good time to break her of the habit."Well, we spend the next hour and a half trying to keep her happy, and once we got in the car to drive home. She was done, and she started to SCREAM! Our house is only about 15 minutes from Lagoon. But within five minutes, I ordered Jayson to stop at the nearest store and get her a new binki. So much for breaking the habit! The second he handed her that new binki. She fell right to sleep! Poor baby! (this picture was actually taken the day after, but it truly shows just how attached she is to that darn binki. Oh man!

It doesn't really look like it, but we Did ride more rides then just the kiddie rides. I just didn't get any pictures of those ones. It is a little hard to take pictures when you are at the top of a rollercoaster! Daxton talked me into going on the white coaster with him. I used to love this one when I was younger. This time however, I guess I am getting a little too old and my stomach is a little too weak. I was SCREAMING the entire time. Dax was laughing and yelling "Wahoo" The whole time. Man, I am too old! I remember going on that over and over when I was younger. Crazy! I thought I was going to puke after. haha! I also took the boys on the music express, another fav of mine. I enjoyed it. But was a little sick after that one as well. Jayson and Dax went on a few different ones. Tregy and I however, took it easy and just went on the mellow ones after that. We had a lot of fun at Pioneer Village as well, going around looking into all the old buildings. The boys really like the one with all the old guns and stuff. So did their daddy! By the time we were done walking around, the boys were freezing though, so we couldn't talk them into going on the log ride. Bummer!
I am glad we finally made it to Lagoon! I definitely recommend going at halloween time.
The boys were asking when we can go again. Unfortunately, they will have to wait until Summer!

  1. I haven't been to Lagoon in years. My kids have never been...bad mom. I have been fortunate that none of my kids were binki kids. Have fun breaking that habit. :)
