Jayson Celebrated his Birthday!
We surprised him with a miter saw. I was so Proud of myself for thinking of such a clever present. And for being able to pull it off, without him guessing. Every year, I struggle trying to think of what to get him. Of course all the stuff he really wants, is too expensive! We usually get him a video game, because the boys decide. Well, this time, I was determined to think of something he would NEVER guess. Tregan was even worried that he would guess, because he Always Does! But there was No Way he would know I would even think of this on my own. I thought it would be fun to get him a tool supply started, so he can get back into building things. Since he is So good at it! So I searched and searched for this, and with alot of texts and help from our neighbor. I was able to find him one, and find a way to sneak and get it. Which is amazing that it all worked out that way. Anyway, we were So Excited to give it to him. I was expecting him to be way shocked and happy. He looked at it and went "oh a saw" in a confused tone. He was like "who's is it?" I guess he thought it was a joke and I had borrowed it from someone. What a dork! So he was real happy, that It was really his.
We just hung out as a fam, had pizza and cake and chilled for his B-day. He said he LOVED it! YAY!!
That weekend it was his works, Lagoon Day. The boys have been so Excited waiting for the day to get here. We spent the ENTIRE day there. It was a long, Super hot, sweaty, day. But we had a BLAST!!! Even Aty had super fun! She got a little grumpy and tired, but we took her over to the splash pad they have their, and she got soaked for a while. So she was pleased as punch, after that! I was wishing I could run through the water with her. It was So hot!! But I didn't really want wet clothes the rest of the day. Tregan, Aty and I ,went on a lot of rides together. Since Treg tends to like the more low key, rides. Turns out, Aty is tall enough to go on a lot of the bigger rides now. But we found out that even though she is tall enough, she may be a little small still. We took her on Bombora, and she loved it! But I was a nervous wreck, holding onto her thinking she would fall out. Dax and Jayson were riding buddies most of the day. With Dax and I taking, turns together on a few as well. While Jayson sat out with Aty and Tregan, After going on colossas three times in a row, Dax was a little sick! But he was good to go, after a few minutes.
This past Weekend, We went to Seven Peaks one last time, we had passes this year. The kids really enjoyed it. So we let them go before they closed. Then on Monday, for Labor Day. We enjoyed some more family time, with Daddy! We went hiking up Farmington canyon. The road was closed leading up to our path. So after walking a long time on the road, Aty was tired and had enough, so we decided to turn back. Oh well, still an adventure like always!
| Not sure what they were doing with their water bottles? |
| We picked lots of flowers and found lots of rocks! We look So Forward to the Weekends with our DADDY! |
During the week, it is just Aty and I! Which involves..
