Daxton turned 9!


Now that Dax is getting older, We have told him he cannot have big parties anymore. This year he was allowed to invite two friends, to go to "Get Air" with us.

Here he is before he left for school.
He got a necklace made with Laffy Taffy's and some his favorite candy bars
Along with his birthday breakfast.

Now that he is getting older, we told him he could invite a couple of friends to go somewhere fun with him. He chose to go to the indoor trampoline place, "Get Air."

They had a Blast!!

 

He requested an Electic Guitar Cake this year!

I got him the trick candles that keep re-lighting.

Everyone was trying to blow them out!

Present time!

It is so sad, as my boys are getting older, they do not want toys anymore. They want video games and movies. I miss the days of buying pirate ships and the latest superheroes.

 I can't believe my Sweet Little Daxy is 9 Years Old! I think I just barely even came to terms with him being eight.

 

He is now in Third Grade!(which is also killing me)

Why does time have to go by so fast? My cute Superman, that used to run around the house with every sword and other toy weapon he had, shoved down the top of his pants or underwear, depending on what he was wearing at the time. is now 9 and too cool for toys! Sigh!

 

Some things about Dax!

* He is and always has been, very easy going.

 

*He is very sensitive. This has become worse, over the last year.

He is still A Tough boy, he just has a tender heart. (takes after his grandpa, I guess)

 

*He loves to climb EVERYTHING!

This has gotten worse, since we moved to Layton.

 He and his friends like to climb the neighbors trees

So now, I catch him trying to climb everything. The slides at the parks, anything outside, our banister...

 

* He loves to torment his little sister. He loves her so much, and he loves to make her scream. 

She is always begging him "Daxy come on!" Their favorite thing to do is wrestle.

 

* He loves to play with friends.  In the Summer, I don't see much of him.

 

 

*He can be kind of airheaded at time., Whenever we are talking as a family or in the car or somewhere, we can always guraantee Dax will catch up to us at the end of the conversation, and he always has something funny or mixed up, to say about what the person just said. We like to tease him. He is a good sport about it, though!

 

*He always has a ton of friends. no matter what age they are. Everyone loves Dax!

In the years past, when I have gone to volunteer in his class, the boys are all begging him to come sit by them, or play with them at recess. Even the girls like him!:)

 

*He is a real ladies man!  (already) Jayson is always telling me, we are going to have trouble when he is a teenager.
