School Jitters

       

 The boys started School!

They both chose to wear their black striped shirts. They were nervous and excited for the big day!

They even chose kind of matching shoes, this year!



 Aty and I, started Preschool!

 

I am back, teaching preschool again. This is my first year, of doing two classes. I have a three year old class and a four year old class. So I am teaching four days a week. So far, it is a little overwhelming! I am finding it is hard to still manage the other parts of my life. My House is a constant Mess!! MyLaundry piles up!  Thank Goodness I have Fridays off, to try and catch up.

The second day of school, Dax was really miserable with a fever and sore throat. Since he only complains when he is Really Sick. I knew he must have the infamous, Strep Throat again! So I took him to the doctor to get meds. They suggested we maybe consider having his tonsils out. We have since seen, an Otolarynogoligist. and he also suggested we have the surgery. So..
Dax is scheduled for a Tonsilectomy in November!

He missed the next day of school as well. So he only attended two days, of his first week of school. That very same weekend, Aty got the Flu. Barfs everywhere !! On Monday, Tregan woke up with it. This was my first day of Preschool, mind you! So, I was frantically getting ready, and trying to take care of Tregan. He had been banned to his bedroom. The phone rings 10 minutes before my class is about to start, it is Daxton, saying he is sick! What?? I hurry and call my neighbor friend to pick him up for me. He is told to stay in his room with Tregan. Movie on the laptop, barf bowls and towels next to the beds. And off I go, to teach my class!

I kept finding him laying on a blanket, in different rooms in the house.

What a day! The next day, Dax was in tears all morning, saying how he could not go to school. I had to try and calm his nerves and sent him out the door crying. Next morning, He is in tears, Again! I have to start class in 15 minutes. I drop him at school, tell him to be brave and he will be ok! Came home and cried, feeling like the worst mother ever!

Aty drew this picture when we were in the waiting room at the doctors office. I had to take a picture of it and send it to Jayson. It is her first Real drawing of a person. Pretty good huh? I think it has a person in it's tummy!
It is funny, all my my kids started out drawing people like this. No stick figures. Always a really big head and a square body.

We have now finished our third week of school. Second week of preschool. All the kids are healthy, Daxton's tears have stopped. (found out he didn't like an obnoxious kid at his table, talked to his teacher and she moved his seat!)
My house is still a giant mess by Friday. And my laundry? Well, lets not talk about it.
Preschool is fun, the boys and Aty are happy, I am still tired! But we are getting through it all.

In Other News..

The first weekend after school started,  we were bored and needed something to do. I remembered I had bought a groupon for tickets to Tracey Aviary in Salt Lake. We decided to go use them before they expired.  Tregan got to feed the Pelicans fish. Aty even fed them a couple. Dax would not touch the fish!

He says it to us everytime we drive by the pelicans, on our way to the beach at Bear Lake.

One Sunday afternoon, the kids were bored. They decided to entertain themselves with the costume box.
